Welcome to No More Spending.net - a blog about being in debt, paying off debt and life after debt.
I started No More Spending.net in 2007 to make myself more accountable for my finances and to blog my journey to debt freedom. I was a spendaholic for twenty years but in 2005 I had a huge light bulb moment and stopped spending immediately. I started to budget, sold a lot of stuff and then began the task of paying everything off. I started out with a lot of debt and it took me until December 2009 to pay off my last credit card bill. But I did it and so can you. It's never too late to turn your finances around.
You won't find 'how to' posts on this site as it's about our personal family finances and how we manage them on a daily basis. We've set some big goals, which include moving abroad and paying off our mortgage by 2015. It's not going to be easy, but with a little focus and determination anything is possible.
