Well, I'm not doing as well as you but I am very happy with my progress because I was able to absorb the $500 of extra expenses caused by our minor flood in the basement. My EF won't get bumped up but neither was it depleted by one cent! So I'm very happy!
It's snowing and blowing today so I think I'll stay inside too!

I think January is a great month for this challenge too. Aside from my trip to NYC and my daughter's birthday, I've really not spent much at all. I'm sitting at $329 for groceries, which is really unheard of for me...but it is a necessity with my 2012 budget.

I think I may carry this over to February as well. Kind of take the whole winter off (from spending).
