It is beautiful. I would recommend a visit to the top of the Rigi (mountain) by train. lovely ride and stunning views from the top! I think it was the first steam cog railway going up a mountain that was built (?) or something like that.. Anyways, that’s where we got married earlier this year, in the snow. A very special place to me.

Ha! It’s only a very small one that I got done on my 40th. The whole area around Lucerne looks so beautiful and my inlaws peaked my interest when they visited a few years ago. It’s also a total change from our usual holiday

Sorry to hear your plans changed. We see ourselves staying put for a while, which is not necessarily a bad thing financially
