NO MORE SPENDING
05. 10. 2014

My one financial goal for October is to track my spending!

Monday
– £42.48 Grocery (Sainsbury’s)
– £14.39 Grocery (Lidl)

Tuesday
– No spend day

Wednesday
– £7.49 Storage
– £52.91 Shelving + Fixings

Thursday
– £5.80 Eating Out

Friday
– £5.85 Grocery

Saturday
– No spend day

Sunday
– No spend day

A little freezer replenishing on Monday – which reminds me I need to do an inventory – followed by a no spend day on Tuesday. Wednesday I bought (and then installed) shelving in our laundry cupboard. It’s not Pinterest worthy, but it is functional – the main thing!

Tracking my spending has resulted in three no spend days – woo!!

I went to London on Tuesday and had lunch with a blogging friend followed by coffee with my daughter. Thursday was my weekly food haul, but I then added to my grocery spending for the week by buying a few toiletries. I had a dental check up on Friday, all was well but I am going to the Hygienist in October for a clean etc.

On Saturday I purchased six rail tickets but I’m owed for two of them by a family member.

I did my main grocery shop/s of the month this week + stocked up on a few items. The water filters we use are on offer at 3 for £8, and so I bought a years supply. I also stockpiled a six month supply of toilet rolls as Lidl had the Nouvelle brand at £2.49 for 9.

Saturday evening we celebrated my daughter’s birthday with a takeaway (her choice) at home.

How was your spending last week?
