SPENDING REPORT: JUNE 2013 #2

SPENDING REPORT

I’m wrapping up my spending report a day early this week as we’ve off on our travels to lovely Lucerne in Switzerland tomorrow – I can’t wait!

Monday
- £79.99 Sat Nav
- £8.00 Flowers
- £9.30 Grocery

Tuesday
- No spend day

Wednesday
- No spend day

Thursday
- £12.19 Grocery

Friday
- £8.00 Fish & Chips!

Saturday
- No spend day

Extra income:
+ £25.40 Items sold

On Monday we purchased a Sat Nav – this one includes European roads which will come in handy when we’re trying to navigate around Portugal!  I budgeted £100 for this purchase, so I’ll be able to snowflake the other £20 to our mortgage. I also bought my Mum some flowers and a few groceries.

On Friday, after a stressful day (more to come on that another day!), we succumbed to buying fish & chips from the local chippy.

Three no spend days so I’m happy! How was your spending this week?

A few spends this week! Monday I was in London and after a little magazine buying went for dinner with my daughter in the evening (M was working). I also paid £20 for the hotel breakfast – it’s all I have to pay for when I stay with M (he gets the hotel room through work).

Tuesday my Mum met me in London for the day and bought my lunch (Yay!). In the evening M and I went out for dinner. I used a Tesc* deals voucher to pay for my food (pizza), and his company paid for his, so in effect it was a free meal :)

Thursday I took advantage of a couple of online deals (thank you MSE!)
1) The Body Shop were offering 40% off + free delivery and so I bought a couple Coconut Butters – paid £15.60 instead of £26.00. I also went through a cash back site, but for some reason it didn’t track.
2) Matalan were selling Havaianas at £11 delivered. Owning a new pair has been on my clothing wish list for ages and for such a good price I couldn’t resist.

And that is (hopefully) everything. Next week I’ll be battening down the spending hatches again :)

A good week, mainly because we’ve spent a few days with my Mum – I’m helping her to de-clutter. M came too – luckily it’s easier for him to get into work from my Mum’s, than it is from home! We did succumb to buying lunch on the way home yesterday (via my Dad’s), but apart from that it was just grocery spending this week :)

How’s your spending been this week?
