I didn’t need much in the way of meat this week, but I did buy two large packs of toilet roll and 12 bottles of water for the car. We keep some in there for emergencies (and for when M plays golf!).

My grocery spend for February is now at £106.46 with two Fridays still to go – I shop once a week on a Friday. I think I’m on track to stay within my £210 budget….let’s hope so anyway! :)

In 2014 my husband & I downsized our home to speed up our quest for Financial Freedom. We swapped our large three bed house, for a small two bed apartment to clear our mortgage and give us enough budget freedom to travel and still save for the future. Our dream, after achieving Financial Freedom, is to spend part of every year living abroad.

you are doing well and you be within your goal no problem. Your eggs are expensive. We pay around $2 for a dozen here which is a little over 1 British pound.

  2. Michelle says:

I can’t believe that you got all of that for less than 35 pounds!!

  3. Do you make paninis, Laura? We love them.

When I was America, I found it really difficult to buy free range or organic eggs, there just didn’t seem to be any labelling that would let you know…

Anyway, you are pretty much right on target with your spend so far, well done!
