Not too much spending to report this week…..if I could keep ALL the weeks like this, the mortgage would be history!

Talking of the mortgage, the January payment went through on Tuesday and decreased the outstanding amount by £478.57. We only made a small over payment, but at least the 2013 mortgage over payment campaign is up and running…………£24,521.43 to go :)

Total: £60.25

Okay that’s it for today, I’m off to catch up with my blog reading. Have a lovely evening :)

    A really good week.

I see you’ve placed an approved foods order.

    Sft x

  2. Yeah for kicking off the 2013 mortgage payoff! You’re getting so close, it’s easy to visualize that number rapidly dropping!!!!

I’m trying NOT to wish the time away, but if we keep going, in 35 months we’ll be mortgage free! Hard to believe!

just catching up with what’s going on. Well done on your over payment on your mortgage. We are down to 34 weeks, so still on target.

Hi Laura! Seeing your 2013 goals and the hard work you’re putting in on reducing your mortgage makes me realize I haven’t really set any goals yet! One of these days….BUT my debt is gone and now it’s all about saving. The same amount gets transferred automatically twice a month into long term savings – nothing much really changes…except spending but that should be mostly over til next Christmas!

  5. Hi there. I’m a farmwife in the US working hard to lower food costs in my own little world. Having fun seeing what so many of you are doing across the pond. Thanks for sharing!

  6. Hi Laura, a great start to 2013. I must check out Approved Foods again (just had one order to date). Reinstalled you on my sidebar and it works. Btw your comments re my random facts made me smile xo

  7. I had to grimace over the airport parking fees; ouch!
