Not too much spending to report this week…..if I could keep ALL the weeks like this, the mortgage would be history!
Talking of the mortgage, the January payment went through on Tuesday and decreased the outstanding amount by £478.57. We only made a small over payment, but at least the 2013 mortgage over payment campaign is up and running…………£24,521.43 to go

- £27.98 Airport Parking
- £1.29 Milk
Total: £60.25

I’m trying NOT to wish the time away, but if we keep going, in 35 months we’ll be mortgage free! Hard to believe!

Hi Laura! Seeing your 2013 goals and the hard work you’re putting in on reducing your mortgage makes me realize I haven’t really set any goals yet! One of these days….BUT my debt is gone and now it’s all about saving. The same amount gets transferred automatically twice a month into long term savings – nothing much really changes…except spending but that should be mostly over til next Christmas!
