Good morning! It’s a new month and therefore the start of a new grocery budget. I’ve set the goal at £200 which, now that we’re down to 3 at home, I should be able to stick to!
I’ve started a menu plan for the whole month (half way there), which should help me with the budgeting. We eat the same things most of the time, so it’s not too difficult of a task. I’m planning a big grocery shop tomorrow, and then small top up shops for fresh items once a week thereafter.
On my list tomorrow is all the meat I (should) need in October:
- Chicken Fillets (2x515g) – £6.00
- Organic Diced Beef (2x410g) – £6.00
- Organic Steak Mince (3x500g) – £10.00
- Organic Sausages x 2 – £5.58
Menu Plan for this week:
- Leftover Chilli
- Baked Salmon & Veggies
- Beef Casserole
- BLT’s and Wedges
- Chicken Balti and Naan
- Burritos

That’s it for me today as I’m off to work. Back tomorrow with a financial goals update

Oh boy… A new month! I really need to get on the ball this month! Good luck with your grocery budget this month!
Hi Carla! This year is flying by, I can’t believe we’re into October either!
Congrats on the menu planning. I’ve planned a whole month but might tweak it a bit.
Can I come round for the baked salmon (it’s my favourite!).

Chicken Balti recipe please. And do you make your own Naan or do you buy it?
