Menu Plan Monday (Detoxing...again!)

Hello! Monday again and time for our meal plan. Hubby is away working this evening and then we're back to normal...which means no more working away until later in the year. Yay! Of course it's been a lot easier sticking to a grocery budget these last few weeks and time will tell if I can still do it when he's here all the time. Still, I'd rather he was here, so no complaining from me. :)

This week I'm doing a little de-tox. Lot's of fruit and veggies, with a very small portion of our main meal on the side...not the other way around!

I went shopping for supplies..

Monday: Tuna Salad
Tuesday: Bruschetta's
Wednesday: Prawn Curry
Thursday: Chili (from the freezer)
Friday: Pizza & Salad
Saturday: Beef Bourguignon & Veggies
Sunday: Mushroom Burgers and Home Made Wedges

  3. Everything sounds yummy! We need to have a detox week after all the sweets we ate while my parents were with us! We have tons of leftovers to work on this week.

    1. It's your birthday Lena - you're allowed to eat sweets for the whole of February! :)

  4. I bought/received so much candy at Christmas that I have not even finished it yet! Definitely need to round that out with healthy meals. If my spouse were away, I would probably have cheese toast or peanut-butter-and-banana toast for dinner!

    1. We are very nearly a candy free house and I'm so glad - the temptation is too much when I can see treats in the cupboard!
