The shelf was filled with stuff that we no longer use, so I've emptied the baskets - full of old wires, chargers etc - and donated all the vases. I also completed the mini makeover that I started in January!
Here's the before (as featured on Move To Portugal)
and the after.....
It looks a whole lot brighter.
Total cost: £35.74
- £0.00 Paint - already had
- £4.00 Paint roller
- £11.76 Print - Etsy
- £7.99 Picture Frame - Ikea
- £11.99 Shade - Ikea
I'm really pleased with the results and I've de-cluttered and donated a whole lot of unwanted stuff.
Have you tackled any mini projects this month?

It looks lovely and I like seeing the wallpaper in the adjoining room. Great colors and much brighter.
ReplyDeleteThanks Juhli!
DeleteWow what a difference! It looks so great. I love Ikea, the BF and I went there last week and I had to hold back from buying too much. Sadly the food court was overwhelmingly full so we didn't get any meatballs.
ReplyDeleteHi Kari - it's very difficult not to spend money at Ikea - I go with a list and target the area's I need. If I browse it usually leads to a spending disaster! :)
DeleteNice reno! The shade really adds punch. I love Ikea too. Fortunately for the budget, the nearest one is a long day's drive away!
