Menu Plan Monday {Starting a Stockpile}

Hello and welcome to this week's Menu Plan Monday post. I hinted at it last week, but I'm going to start planning a month of meals at a time from now on; I've done this before and stopped for some reason. It makes sense to me now though to start it again; we seem to be regularly eating the same meals and I think that I can batch cook with more purpose this way.  I will also be able to use my stockpile in a more efficient manner...when I've built it.

I'd love to know if you plan for a whole month and if so, it works for you and your family.

This week's menu:

Monday: Beef Bourguignon and vegetables
Tuesday: Mushroom Omelettes and Salad
Wednesday: BLT's
Thursday: Pasta Bolognaise
Friday: Left over Pasta and Ciabatta
Saturday: Veggie Pizza
Sunday: Sausages and Vegetables

  1. I used to plan a month in advance and for some reason I stopped. I'd love to get back into it! Maybe I'll sit down today and make a list of meals for October...

  5. I used to plan for a full month and also stopped. It went down to 2 weeks, then a week, now it's just a couple of days. If I decided to start up again, it would be weekends only.

    Weekdays are leftovers or quick meals. I am actually getting pretty good at looking at the pantry on Saturday morning and deciding what big stuff to cook Sat and Sunday for the rest of the week's leftovers.
