Personal Spending Budget {18th June -17th July}

My simple {personal} budget for the next thirty days..

Opening balance £22.85...

Money in:
£100

Money out:
£18 World Vision
£15 Misc spends
£32 Savings account
£35 Haircut {I've not cancelled the appointment}

Balance left £22.85

After a week of recommitting to my {our} goals and realising that my buy it, to sell it three months later mentality has to stop, I've set a really low miscellaneous spending allowance of £15...for a lunch date with a friend.

  1. I allow myself $20.00 per week in my personal budget and I,m really struggling with this one. Today for example I had already spent my money and along came my Grandchildren and before I knew it I had spend $26.40 on lunch at Hungry Jacks as well as this I had to buy my hair colouring ( as my grey hairs were showing and I,m going away before next payday )so I,m way over my budget, and not happy about it.

  2. Hi Maureen, I understand it must be so difficult not to spend with your grandchildren.

    Saying no to my kids, when I first started to pay off my debt was really hard, but I learnt to, I had to..eventually they got used to it.

    I would make them treats at home, much cheaper than going out...I still do :-)
