2010: A new job and some learning

I love the start of a new year, it's usually for me a time to refocus and think about the things I want to accomplish over the next 12 months but for some reason I can't seem to nail anything down. I know that I want to find a job, a job that I like and gives me some satisfaction, and I know that I have a newly found thirst for learning, outside of that I have nothing. I no longer think about money daily, which is strange as it's all I thought about when I was in debt. I do need to get my money mojo back though - we still have mortgage debt to attack!

It's done! I'm debt free

I did it; I am now debt free. I'm a little lost for words and it doesn't seem real, but after spending all my adult life in debt (almost 25 years) I am now FINALLY DEBT FREE!

Forgive the shouting but this is a momentous day for me; my life is changing so much.

I'd like to thank each and every person in the blogging community who has commented, offered advice and support and followed me on this amazing roller coaster of a journey; you have all inspired me to keep going. Thank you so much.

What now?

Well it seems work are trying to get their monies worth out of me before I leave and I have no time for blogging, or much else for that matter.
Handing over everything to my replacement is taking some doing, but the nearer I get to my final day, the more I realise that this is a good decision; having so much debt has kept me in a job that I dislike for too long and it's time to do something that I actually like, which doesn't take up most of my life! The big question is, what do I want to do, as at the moment I have no idea!
