December Mini Goals

If you're new here you might want to subscribe to this blog to get free updates; you can do this here.

I didn't set any mini goals in November and it showed. I had no focus and just drifted along. For some reason setting myself little targets works for me.

I write the goals on a card, stick them in a prominent place, usually near my pc, and then I have to see them daily - it works to keep me focused!

  • Clear my debt and close loan account
  • Sort out reward cards and clear purse (wallet)
  • Record all spending
  • Write 2010 personal goals
  • Finish Christmas preparations by the 18th
  • Make £100 in extra income on eBay and Amazon

What about you, are you setting mini goals this month?

  1. -Continue to list and sell items.
-Make sure I am making the most of my get-out-of-debt free time (like finishing etsy items for sale, continue listing if I can, clean out the kitchen, etc...
-maintain my Christmas budget and stay on course (so far so good)
-baked all those cookies for Christmas :)

It's good to have acheivable goals. I notice a difference if I don't set them, too.

  2. This month, I am partaking in a month of starved consumerism. I am only spending items on things I need. I think this will help me identify what is truly necessity and what I just randomly spend my money on.

I also want to slowly start building up money for an IRA and money for a down payment on a home.

  3. • enjoy a debt-free Christmas with the kids
    • make a snowball payment in spite of the holiday AND the grandparents coming for a week
    • research a local bank to move our checking account to (from behemoth: Wells)
    • Google Sabrina Knight and debtconsolidationcare.com religiously, every day
