Argh, a week without posting! I've been so busy with work and party preparations, that blogging went by the wayside. The good news is that my spending hasn't. I've managed to keep up my spending diary, make a little extra money and pay down some more debt.
Payday isn't until next week, ten days time, and I want to have a spending fast until then; I'm only buying milk and fruit between now and the 30th. We have a freezer full of food and I want to make do.
This month I feel like I'm back in control - it's a great feeling. I've been inspired by this post at Man vs Debt, some of the ideas are quite radical, and some I've already done, but I love it. I know when I started out on this journey I was as single minded about my debt as anyone could be, over time this has eased a little. I need, and want, to get back to that mindset.

good for you - that feeling of having control is amazing!!!! keep up the great work
It was the constant hamster-on-the-wheel feeling that makes ME feel out of control.
Simplifying things down can make it easy to really see what you've set your heart on as well a your focus.
We have an overstuffed freezer(s) too, it's amazing how much food we have stocked away and yet I still buy more! I'm trying to just buy perishables for the next few weeks until we eat through the supply.
