Dreams of the everyday Piscean

I'm not much in to Astrology, but if you look at the traits of a piscean, I'm a typical one. I like structure, I like having goals to work towards and I'm dreamy, very dreamy.

I have large dreams, which written down on paper right now, look a long way off. None the less, your dreams are your dreams, you can't change them or they're not your dreams any more.

I dream of living a simple, debt free life in the Portuguese countryside. I'll be running a small bed and breakfast, which is furnished with beautiful, thrift shop finds and I'll be taking vacations on the East and West coasts of America.

Not much to ask, is it? Well yes it is, but it's my dream anyway. Now I could choose to spend the rest of my life wishing for these things and not achieving them or I could set goals and action plans to achieve at least some of it. This is where the 5 year plan comes in.

  4. During my college days, a friend of mine took me out to the Hamptons, Long Island, NY. I fell in love with the area and dreamed I would one day live out there. When I got married a few years later, I would also take my children out to the Hamptons and drive up and down Dune Road, right along the ocean, all filled with beautiful homes along the shoreline and tell my kids that one day we would live there.

    We did.

    For 16 wonderful years.

My daughters grew up in one of the most beautiful areas in the whole wide world.

    Never give up your dreams.

No dream is too small or too big.

    It may take many years.

    But dreams do come true.

I've since moved on to better dreams. Never too old to keep on dreaming.

PS: I want to be the 1st guest at your B&B in Portugal. OK?

  7. Hmm...is Portugal amongst the soon-to-be bankrupt countries in the world? That would make your exotically achievable dream even more likely to come true. If it's not on the at-risk list, maybe you should consider Iceland.

Hope you're not offended by my dark and often warped sense of humour. I'm enjoying your blog!
