Updating the Debt totals...

If you have debt, how often do you think about it? I think about mine most of the day. Outside of my family, my debt is my main focus in life. It has to be.

I've hardly read any Dave Ramsay, but I would think that this is what he means when he says 'gazelle like intensity'. There have been times when its got me down, but overall my intensity has never really wavered since 2005. You need to focus to change your habits.

I need to pay it all off, so that I can focus on the better things in my life. I can't start properly living my life until it has all gone.

  • Debt March 2005 = £45,023
  • Debt January 2008 = £22,425
  • Debt September 2008 = £16,409

-Since the start I've paid off £28,614.

-This year I've paid off £6,016

  1. That's so amazing, if you convert what you've paid off into Aussie Dollars, it's more than my total starting amount!

  2. Your amazing and have so well!!
But I know what your saying - I have been in debt for the last ten years. The borrower is servant to the lender. That is so true. Like you, life will really start once I have paid off all my debt.
