I blew my no miscellaneous spending challenge in April. I spent £13.86 on a book and some stationery, £65.45 on meals out and £13.69 on lunches. A total of £93.00, with a budget of zero!
The grocery budget for April, £200, was overspent by £36.34 as well. I've joined the May grocery challenge over at Give Me Back My Five Bucks with the hope that this will encourage me to stick to the plan. I have a target of £200 ($400) for four of us.
Looking at these figures makes me realise that I still have a lot of work to do on the food spending in my budget.
